FAQ & policies of Brendan McCahey Band:

 

How to Book:

• Secure the band with a deposit using BOOK US page or credit/ debit card, Revolut transfer.
• Receive a confirmation email.

Communication and Details:

• Keep in touch for finer details closer to the event.
• Feel free to contact for any questions throughout the planning process.

Performance Duration:

• The band plays for 3 hours, and the DJ continues until the hotel curfew.
• Flexible with the schedule and can adapt to each couple’s pre-arranged time.

Volume Control:

• Ensures a quality show and adjusts volume upon request throughout the night.

Playlist Preferences:

• Welcomes suggestions for the playlist, especially “Must Have” tunes.
• Couples not required to select songs; the band reads the crowd and adjusts accordingly.

First Dance:

• The Band Enjoys playing the first dance and accepts advance notice for specific song reques.
• Honors original versions from CDs if preferred.

Availability:

• Check availability promptly as dates fill up quickly.
• Contact via call, WhatsApp, or email, or use the Check Availability page.

 

Booking Process:

Showcase:

• Attend live or virtual showcases to experience the band’s performance.

Quote:

• Provide event details for a quote.
• Quote is considered a promise with no hidden extras.

Deposit:

• Pay a deposit, typically by credit/debit card, bank transfer, or cash, to reserve the date.

Details & Schedule:

• After deposit, the band is available for communication during business hours.
• Gather more event details via the internet form.

Music Selection:

• Finalize song selections, including the first dance, four weeks before the event.

Confirmation of Details:

• Details recorded in the ‘Wedding Details Form.’
• Confirmation call 2-3 weeks before the event.

 

On the Day:

Band Arrival:

• Arrive 60-90 minutes before the specified start time.

During the Event:

• Continuous liaison with the function coordinator (typically best man or bridesmaid) to ensure a smooth event.

Payment:

Finalizing Payment:

• Payment in cash on the night to be finalized.
• Enables immediate payment to the rest of the band.

Cancellation Policy:

Please review the following terms and conditions,

• The booking fee is non-refundable if the band is booked within 12 months of the wedding date.
• The booking fee is refundable until the band is viewed; after viewing, it becomes non-refundable 24 hours later.
•  If the wedding is canceled within 12 months of the wedding date, the booking fee is non-refundable.
• The booking fee can be transferred to a new date, subject to availability, but becomes non-refundable once the date is changed.
• If the booking is canceled within three months of the wedding date, 50% of the balance is due (this may be waived on compassionate grounds).
• The booking fee is non-refundable six months after payment.
